Anstey Mills Cottages on the Edge of Exmoor
Set on our peaceful farm near Dulverton, Anstey Mills Cottages offer a calm, comfortable base for exploring Exmoor and the North Devon countryside. Parts of the farmstead date back centuries, yet each cottage has been beautifully renovated for cosy, contemporary stays. Guests describe the setting as “postcard-perfect” and “blissfully cosy,” with wide skies, fresh air, and room to unwind.
We have two self-catering cottages:
- Anstey Mills Cottage sleeps 6–8 — perfect for families or groups, with a cosy wood burner.
- Thatched Cottage suits couples or small families seeking a quiet retreat.
Both cottages can also be booked together, making Anstey Mills ideal for larger family gatherings or group holidays.
Walk straight from your door onto farmland, wooded valleys, and moorland. Both cottages are dog-friendly, with semi-enclosed gardens and plenty of space for children to play. Exmoor, the coast, and local attractions in Devon and Somerset are all within easy reach.
